Hi, my name is Shaashwat Gupta, I am a boy, and I am 11 years old. I am a 6th grader attending Willows Preparatory School in Redmond, WA. I live In Washington which is in the USA. COVID-19 has impacted countless lives in a negative way. Soon, when we were in the pandemic for a few months, I realized what the environment was starting to become around me. It was gloomy, dangerous, boring, sad, and it is lifeless and made it boring. Right now, COVID-19 is still spreading. Recently, a new strain of COVID - 19 was announced it reported to be way more dangerous, and contagious then the other strains. It has already spread in 14 countries! So please, be safe because sadly, I had got Covid-19 too in December of 2021. Due to the pandemic, I thought I could vanquish some boredom by making this chess website which is my very first website so people can interact and play chess with each other. I hope my website can make quarantine fun for you and help you learn something new or advance your skills in chess. I founded Chess2Win because I was ambitious about teaching chess, and I want to share my knowledge about it to other people. I've been learning chess since 2015 and I still want to continue learning. Some of my hobbies are reading fiction books, and my favorite genre is Ancient Greek. Another hobby of mine is playing basketball. I love building robots and working with Legos! I love that I can do anything with them and use my creativity. These are three of my favorite hobbies!
